JH Creative Designs

Welcome to the official website of Jacqueline Jones-Henry. I am a Creative Director, Design Consultant, Graphic Designer and Freelance contract designer with over 25 years of experience in various aspects of design and publishing.

About Me

Throughout my career, I have worked in various aspects of design and publishing, including Creative Director, Design Consultant, Graphic Designer, and Freelance Contract Designer. I started my career in an Advertising agency called Graffiti, clients include EMI Records, Knight Frank, Reebok, Hamlyn Books and more before working for Hearst, GE Publishing and Conde Nast at senior levels delivering a wide range of concepts to House & Garden, Vogue, Tatler and GQ. My experience includes liasing with clients such as Savills, Sotheby's, Bulgari and Giorgio Armani. Using advanced design-based typographical interpretation solutions, along with excellent illustration and photography, I create new concepts for publications, corporate identity design, brand development and brochures.

I am also the founder of a new lifestyle brand Kind at Heart CIC. We design concepts for all children to help promote positive emotions. Additionally, I am passionate about able-bodied children learning to communicate and become friends with children who are differently-abled. Every child is unique, just like a work of art. They should not be ostracized because they are different. My dream is to help ensure a new generation of young ones learn to grow together and be creative together so that they can work alongside each other in the foreseeable future.

Kind at Heart

Jacqueline Jones-Henry and Lucinda Birtles are the directors of Kind at Heart
a new creative lifestyle brand empowering children to love life through the use of positive words and creativity. We believe in helping children have fun as they learn to become the most effective version of themselves. Children who use our first products will quickly learn how to face disadvantages and inequities head-on.

The brand caters to all children, whether they are hearing, deaf, blind, or have special educational needs. Unlike other brands, we leave no child behind. Young ones will learn what it means to be kind, have self-respect, and understand that their lives are precious and of paramount importance. We use a creative approach to help get children excited, become curious about words that reflect core values and stir positive emotions.

We believe Children who are different must be included in the everyday affairs of life. We encourage able-bodied children and children who are different to build valuable lasting friendships.

Kind at Heart our uncomplicated fast learning system encourages children from
5 to 10 years to develop healthy and happy self-esteem so they can truly respect one another. Contact us info@kindatheart.com

The book is something to be treasured.’

“This book is great for children,
both because it will help them explore their feelings,
but also because it’s fun too.”

Exploring the Power of Words: My Character
By Jacqueline Jones-Henry

We want children to have fun as they learn to be their best selves. With the use of creativity, children have fun while learning the importance of valuing their self-worth, respecting each other and the importance of having positive emotions. Using this interactive colouring book Exploring the Power of Words: My Character. The characters Abbie, Zack, Zara and Arun (Arun is in a wheelchair) take children on a journey to explore the definition of words that help to shape positive characteristics. Young ones learn what it means to be kind to each other, have self-respect, respect each other, be patient, and celebrate the fact that every child is unique.

Design a personal book! As children illustrate their adventures in their books, young ones will illustrate how they feel, how they wish to live their lives, as well as what kind of adventure they would like to experience.

“The book arrived, and we love it!!!

It is deeply inspiring, practical and interactive. And inadvertently, through the colouring-in, it promotes mindfulness and contemplation. Superb.”

“My favourite is self-respect. It’s crucial! It all starts with self-love.” Kate McGuire, Founder of the Converted Closet (sustainable fashion)
